Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which are 18m in length and the other 4 are methanol carry pumps which may be 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed alongside the length of the pumps to monitor the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank during installation guaranteeing that because the pump is lowered into the tank it remains perfectly aligned, lowering vibration and put on throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps had been independently witness examined and certified by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. เพชเชอร์เกจ have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump delivery and set up needed to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the length of the pumps, they had to be installed into the vessel’s tanks through the deck before another deck above the pumps might be built. The first part was accomplished successfully over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the shopper with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO might be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 subject, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide up to 90 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It might be geared up to handle the monsoon circumstances prevalent at the subject.
