Cold Solution’s 15,000 sqm flagship facility in Tatu City Special Economic Zone in Nairobi would be the largest, most advanced and efficient within the area. The cold chain facility is flexibly designed to cater for numerous temperature ranges from +26 to -40 C and a quantity of product ranges, from recent fruit and vegetables, to prescription drugs and vaccines, meats and poultry, and frozen foods.
Cold Solutions Kenya is a portfolio company of ARCH Cold Chain Solutions East Africa Fund, a non-public fairness fund advised by ARCH Emerging Markets Partners Limited (ARCH).
“Cold Solutions’ one-stop-shops are designed to allow companies to keep observe of merchandise in real-time and facilitate transportation across East Africa by way of temperature-controlled vans, either within the internal city or to long-haul destinations,” said Jared Irving, Managing Director, ARCH.
