KSB Group’s future-proof diaphragm valves for drinking water

Valves put in in ingesting water transport techniques have to meet stringent demands, both when it comes to design and materials employed.
To satisfy these necessities the KSB Group’s SISTO Armaturen S.A. in Luxembourg has launched its SISTO-16RGAMaXX diaphragm valve type series, featuring threaded sockets, a stainless-steel physique and a particular ingesting water diaphragm.
The body is made of 1.4409, a material that is significantly proof against chlorinated water and appropriate for ingesting water. To maintain เกจวัดแรงดันsumo handled clear, the body is designed with out useless volume, thus stopping deposits within the valve. Nominal sizes range from Rp 1/2”- 3”.
The confined and supported diaphragm maximises service life and is designed for a strain of sixteen bar. It is manufactured from high-quality elastomer (EPDM/W270) and meets the German Environment Agency’s requirements on plastics appropriate for drinking water applications (KTW-BWGL). The valves cowl a temperature vary from -10 °C to +90 °C. This means the type collection is also highly suitable for thermal disinfection.
Since the threaded stems for actuating the valves aren’t involved with the fluid handled, they will proceed to ship easy operation even after a few years of use. The stem protection fitted prevents any external contamination and likewise serves to point the valve place. Closing torques are minimised by a smooth-running thrust bearing.
