The 30 deepwell gasoline pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It can be the second LNG fuel pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj in the last 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are heaps of indications that gross sales may increase even further in 2022.
“Until a number of years ago, the usage of LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But pressure gauge ลม are actually seeing a pointy improve in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen as the supplier of gasoline pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we purpose to increase our market share additional within the coming years.”
